Each test varies in the number of questions, type of questions, and timing. Clicking on the name of a test will display a detailed description of the test, number of questions, and estimated time.
We provide you with a true test-taking experience. By taking a timed test, you can learn how to pace yourself and not spend too much time in any one section.
Your completed tests reside on your "My Account" tab. You can always return to them by going to the "My Account" tab and clicking "View Score Report" or "Review Answers."
If you cannot complete a test in one sitting, you have the ability to choose "Save and Finish Later." You can then go back to finish your test at a later time by going to the "My Account" tab and choosing "Resume."
You can retake a test as many times as you wish, regardless of the test mode you choose.
You can use or download an eBook an unlimited number of times.
You have unlimited access to tutorials.
You can take a test in 1 of 3 modes; Learner, Exam Simulation, and Exam Practice. The Learner mode allows you to view the answers to each question as you go along to help you study. The Exam Simulation mode simulates an actual testing environment. The exam is timed and will end when the timer is up. The Exam Practice mode will enable you to take the timed test but the time displayed is not enforced. If the timer runs out, you are not prevented from completing the test. The timer is only intended to help you pace yourself in preparation for real testing situations.
We recognize that users of our products have different learning needs. As such, we provide 3 different test modes to cater to those needs. Selecting a test mode will ensure that you make the most out of your learning experience.
The Learner test mode allows you to view the answers to each question as you go along to help you study.
The Exam Simulation mode simulates an actual testing environment. The exam is timed and will end when the timer is up.
The Exam Practice mode will enable you to take the timed test but the time displayed is not enforced. If the timer runs out, you are not prevented from completing the test. The timer is only intended to help you pace yourself in preparation for true testing situations.
Once you have completed a test, click the "Score My Test" button at the bottom of the page.
The test scores are presented as a percentage of correct answers (e.g., 75% correct out of a possible 100%). If the test scores for the actual exams are presented differently (ex. the GED® test scale of 800), our percentage results will be roughly equated. Test-specific scoring information is provided in the personal score report you receive at the completion of each test.
Our practice tests are based on real exams. Therefore, you will gain confidence in your knowledge of the type of material you need to know prior to taking the real exam.
