Each test varies in the number of questions, type of questions, and timing. Clicking on the name of a test will display a detailed description of the test, including the number of questions and estimated time.

Why are the tests timed?

We provide you with a true test-taking experience. By taking a timed test, you can learn how to pace yourself and not spend too much time in any one section.

What are Test Modes?

You can take most tests in one of three modes; Practice, Simulation, and Learner. The Learner mode allows you to view the answers to the questions as you go along to help you study. The Simulation mode simulates an actual testing environment. If the exam is timed, it will end when the timer is up. The Practice mode will enable you to take the timed test, but if time displayed, it is not enforced. If the timer runs out, you are not prevented from completing the test. The timer is only intended to help you pace yourself in preparation for real testing situations.

Why do I have to choose a Test Mode?

We recognize that users of our products have different learning needs. As such, we provide three different test modes to cater to those needs. Selecting the appropriate test mode will ensure that you make the most out of your learning experience.

What is the Learner mode?

The Learner mode allows you to view the answers to the test questions as you go along to help you study.

What is the Simulation mode?

The Simulation mode simulates an actual testing environment. If the exam is timed, it will end when the timer is up.

What is the Practice mode?

The Practice mode will enable you to take a timed test, but if time displayed, it is not enforced. If the timer runs out, you are not prevented from completing the test. The timer is only intended to help you pace yourself in preparation for true testing situations.

How do I score a test?

Once you have completed a test, click the "Score My Test" button at the bottom of the page.

Do the scores on the practice exams reflect the official exam scores?

The test scores are presented as a percentage of correct answers (e.g., 75% correct out of a possible 100%). If the test scores for the actual exams are presented differently, our percentage results will be roughly equated. Test-specific scoring information is provided in the personal score report you receive at the completion of each test.

How will this help me to prepare for the real exam?

Our practice tests are based on real exams. Therefore, you will gain confidence in your knowledge of the type of material you need to know prior to taking the real exam.

Is my score private? Who else has access?

If you are a patron of a library and have created an account through your library’s subscription, then your score is private and only accessible by you. If you are a student of a college, university, or workforce center that subscribes to LearningExpress and have created an account through your institution, then your scores may be viewed by faculty and administrators of your institution.

Will my e-mail address be used for solicitation or mailing?

No, we do not use or share this information. It is only used to e-mail you a reminder if you've forgotten your password and to inform you of any major updates to our site that may impact your account.

Can I print out my results?
